Are you a Developer?

We are looking for a Sr. .NET developer for our office in Dallas. This position is with the architect group which means we are looking for someone with strong .NET skills who can lead a development team as well as write functional/technical documentation for jr. developers. This person will play a pivotal role on the development team, juggling multiple projects simultaneously - some small, some large. From time to time, larger projects at Covalent push the custom application envelope, so experience with complex development, strategy, and problem solving is a must have.

Our team is very cohesive and collaborative, so we also need a clear, concise communicator who's flexible, client-minded, and not afraid to "get dirty" with any task. There are no egos or attitudes here, just people who love what they do, are incredibly talented, embrace consistent quality in their work, and are not afraid to learn and take direction.

This person will have day-to-day collaboration with other .NET developers. We don't have a comprehensive training process, so at least 2 years of experience in .NET and other languages is required - we need someone who can hit the ground running. We all work "in house" - working remotely is not an option for this position, so if you're interested, you'll either have to be in Dallas, or willing to pack up.

  • SQL 2000/2005 (Stored procs, performance tuning, relational database design)
